Nominate a Business or Organization
Organizations are composed of people and, since no person is perfect, no organization will be perfect either. But, let's face it, some organizations do a better job with their work force than others.
Do you know of an organization that treats its workers well and is a great place to go to work each day? If so, we would like to include them in our research.
You can nominate a small business or a large corporation, whether for-profit or non-profit, in the public or private sector by submitting an email with the following information:
• The name and location of the business/organization
• Any contact information (if available)
• A description of why you view the organization as a great place to work
Send us your nomination:

ExperiencesMy favorite work experience was a supervisor who never said “You should have.” Instead, she encouraged me with “How do you think we should address this?” and coached me by saying, “What do you think we/you should do?” Problem-solving always was a team process that involved creativity and big-picture thinking, and it actually became fun!
One of my worst work experiences with another supervisor I will remember because it was so ludicrous. This supervisor was unfriendly and moody, so instead of seeking her assistance our colleagues often came to my office, where the door always was open. One day the supervisor stormed into my office, shut the door, and said, “I don’t know why people always come to you. They should come to ME. They’re always looking for you. YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE SOME ENEMIES BY NOW.”
